For a limited time, IKEA and Disney teamed up to bring a little extra magic to the holiday season. Select stores featured a Disney pop-up shop, scavenger hunt, and holiday ornament making activities.

Partnering with Disney retail designers, the Disney pop-up shop brought the Disney magic and used IKEA equipment to present a curated selection of Disney products.

Moments of mischief

What happens when Stitch gets separated from his family during a trip to IKEA?

Moments of mischief that are big, bold, and exaggerated – starting with finding the aftermath of Stitch’s mischief – to joining Stitch on his journey as he interacts with the range – and helping him reunite with his family. He even makes some new friends along the way!

Following Stitch’s paw prints, visitors were led by playful wayfinding decals and supporting graphics to their next clue throughout key core areas in the Showroom.

Magical workshop

With IKEA PYSSLA beads, guests of all ages unleashed their imaginations to create their own small works of art. By following the provided patterns, participants made Mickey and Minnie ornaments to hang on the tree – or anywhere.
