Fixture Design

Innovative retail solutions for merchandising
that enhance the customer experience.

Range support

Retail fixtures go beyond racking and merchandise carriers. Fixtures can be multi functional in supporting important tasks and creating sensory environments.

A warm space

Birch wood was used to support a Scandinavian identity and to provide a warm and inviting color pallet to the space. Slatted designs provide a sense of privacy while allowing light to shine through in dark areas.

Functional door menus allow for width and depth of the range to be presented in compact spaces and assist the customer in the planning and buying process.

Functional experience

Linen textiles are used to soften the hard edges and provide diffused light and dampen surrounding noise.

When a customer interacts with each of these installations, they are provided with a sense of comfort and cocooning in an often crowded space. This allows them to fully experience the product in the moment.

Front and center

Polycarbonate sign holders were developed to bring vital communication right where the customer needs it. The holders were thoughtfully designed with numerous features to ensure flexibility and durability.

The angle provides an ease of readability while avoiding glare and reflection of commercial lighting.

A small ledge was placed along the back side to keep papers from falling, and cutout tabs placed on either side make it easier to replace communication.

Screw holes on the base allows for optional securing to the bed base.

Transparent support

Clear acrylic risers provide multi functional display and merchandising support. Proportionately sized to fit symmetrically atop or within racking fixtures, the risers can be placed facing up or down, creating extra merchandising space or display support without obstructing view of the product(s). The quarter-inch thickness provides strength and durability, ensuring a long lasting fixture.

Modular partitions

A flexible and modular system was developed for use in planning and mattress studios. Birch wood reflects the Scandinavian identity and is complemented by white metal or textiles. The partition and posts allow for custom configurations that can be changed to fit the needs of the space. Extra features were included to meet safety requirements for use in seismic zones, including lock and screw systems, airplane wire run to ceilings, and four point contact post bases to secure to the floor.
